Charities
Each year HempstARA runs various events to raise funds for charities chosen by its members. Through activities such as quizzes, raffles, coffee mornings, bring and buy sales and stalls at local fayres, monies have been raised for the following charities.
Members have chosen Medway Street Angels and My Shining Star as the charities for 2018/19. Information about their work can be found at the following websites:

In 2017 members chose to support The Millie Moo Foundation and The Kingfisher Medway Trust. Cheques for £300.00 were presented to both charities at our November 2017 club meeting.
